The shield terminates by soldering to the body. ## Panel-mount bulkhead — the hardware is in the bag This is a rear-side-nut bulkhead mount: the connector body slides through the panel hole from the outside, the lockwasher and nut tighten from the inside. The included locking ring secures the bayonet interface. The nickel-plated brass body gives good RF shielding and corrosion resistance for indoor equipment racks and control cabinets. The solder cup termination is field-serviceable — you tin the center conductor, solder it into the cup, and solder the braid to the shield body.
