The side-stacking feature lets multiple 282815-3 headers interlock side-by-side without extra brackets, building wider multi-row arrays from a single part number. The UL-rated 15 A per contact at 300 V defines the continuous power ceiling. Termination is through-hole solder, with a contact tail length of 0.138\" (3.50mm) — sufficient for standard 1.6mm PCBs with through-hole plating.
