It will not mate correctly with a standard 50 Ohm MMCX cable assembly — the impedance mismatch will cause signal reflections and degrade performance at higher frequencies. The mating plug must also be a 75 Ohm MMCX type, such as the Samtec TRUE75™ MMCX7-P-C-GF-RA-CA3 (crimp plug for RG-179 cable).
