What this 4-position Mini50 receptacle does in the harness
The latch holder with Connector Position Assurance (CPA) means the secondary lock clicks in only when the housing is fully mated — a visual and tactile check that the connection won't back out under engine or machine vibration. This is a free-hanging (inline) receptacle, single-row, 4 positions.
Why the contacts-not-included note matters on the BOM
This is standard for Mini50 and similar USCAR-style connector families, where the terminal is selected by wire gauge (typically 20-22 AWG for the Mini50 system) and plating grade (gold for high-cycle or corrosive environments, tin for general duty). If the BOM lists only this order code, the harness build stops at the crimp station.
