3-Position Eurostyle Terminal Block at 5.08 mm Pitch
The Molex 0395943003 is a 3-position, single-level terminal block from the Eurostyle ESE 39594 series. It uses a rising cage clamp termination — turning the screw draws a clamp plate up against the wire, gripping it against the current bar. The screw torque spec is 0.51 Nm (4.5 Lb-In) — enough to secure the wire without stripping the steel screw.
Wire Termination and Field Installation
The rising cage clamp accepts solid or stranded wire from 12 AWG down to 30 AWG. Strip the wire, insert it into the clamp opening, and tighten the screw to 0.51 Nm (4.5 Lb-In). The clamp plate rises and presses the wire against the tin-plated brass current bar — no crimp tool, no ferrule needed. The horizontal wire entry (parallel to the board) keeps the wiring low-profile in an enclosure.
