Contact system and board fit
The 0416710015 is the 16-position single-row member of Molex's KK396, 41671 breakaway header line, mating with KK396 crimp housings or board-to-board receptacles. Gold-plated mating contacts on square brass pins carry the signal path; the through-hole solder termination and 3.96 mm pitch suit point-to-point wiring or board stacking where the 0.156" spacing matches legacy 0.156" centerline connectors.
Shroud and locking
A single-wall shroud with friction lock provides polarization and retention against cable pull — the lock engages with the mating receptacle latch, reducing the risk of unplanned disconnection in automotive, industrial, or medical equipment enclosures. The polyester housing carries a UL94 V-0 flammability rating, meeting the flame-retardance requirement for equipment inside an enclosure.
