The Molex 0430451028 is a 10-circuit, dual-row header from the Micro-Fit 3.0 43045 series. It's a board-to-wire interconnect: the header solders into a PCB, and a matching receptacle housing with crimp terminals locks onto it. The 600 V voltage rating at this pitch gives good creepage for mains-isolated circuits without blowing up the board footprint.
Contact plating is split: the mating side is gold at 15.0 µin (0.38 µm), the solder tail is tin at 100.0 µin (2.54 µm). The tin post is purely for solderability; the thick 100.0 µ" tin wets well in wave or hand solder. The housing is black LCP (Liquid Crystal Polymer) glass-filled, rated UL94 V-0.
Mating and Termination Reality
The matching receptacle part numbers are in the 43025 series (crimp housings) or 43645 series (pre-loaded wire assemblies). For the crimp terminals, use Molex 43030 or 43031 series contacts, 20-24 AWG, with the correct hand tool or press. The through-hole post length is 0.125" (3.18 mm) — standard for 1.6 mm PCBs; the insulation height of 0.390" (9.91 mm) means the shroud sits well above the board, giving clearance for the receptacle body.
