The Molex 0430452425 is a 24-circuit, dual-row header from the Micro-Fit 3.0 43045 series, designed for board-to-wire power and signal interconnects.
Construction and key features
The kinked solder tails (0.125" post length) give a press-fit retention in the plated through-holes before the solder joint sets, which helps on a high-mix line where the board goes through the wave before the connector is fully clamped.
The Micro-Fit 3.0 series is a general-purpose power interconnect found in automotive harnesses, industrial control cabinets, medical equipment, and telecom gear. The board-to-wire style means one end terminates to the PCB through the through-hole pins, and the other end crimps onto discrete wires with the matching terminal and receptacle housing.
This header mates with any Micro-Fit 3.0 receptacle housing that has the same 24-circuit, dual-row layout and 3.00 mm pitch — the standard mating half is the 43025 series housing. The receptacle uses crimp terminals (43030 series) that accept 20-24 AWG wire.
