The Contacts Trap — Order Separately
You'll need the Micro-Fit 3.0 female crimp terminal (Molex order code 430300001 for 20-24 AWG, or the tin-plated variant 430300007) to populate the 10 cavities. The crimp termination means you're building a custom harness length, not buying a pre-terminated cable assembly. If the BOM line only lists this housing, the build stops at the crimp press until the terminals arrive.
Mating Half and Latch Lock
The mating connector is a Micro-Fit 3.0 pin header — typically the 43045 series vertical or right-angle headers with 0.118" (3.00 mm) pitch and 10 circuits. The latch lock on this receptacle clicks onto the header's locking ramp, giving positive retention against vibration. For a free-hanging harness, the latch is what keeps the pair mated when the cable gets tugged; without it, the contacts would back out of the header pins over time in a moving assembly.
