What this housing is
The Molex 0436802004 is a 4-position, single-row plug housing in the Sabre 43680 series, rated 18 A per circuit at 7.50 mm (0.295 inch) pitch. It accepts male blade contacts via crimp termination and is designed for free-hanging (in-line) harness assembly — the locking ramp on the housing body provides positive retention when mated to the matching receptacle.
Contacts not included — plan the terminal line
The housing ships without contacts. The matching male blade terminal is a separate order line. For a complete mated pair the receptacle housing and its female socket contacts must also be specified independently — the Sabre 43680 plug does not include or ship with any contact material.
Environmental and mechanical fit
The PA/Nylon body handles operating temperatures from -40°C to 75°C, which covers most industrial harness environments without active cooling. The locking ramp resists vibration-induced unmating better than a plain friction-fit housing — relevant for equipment-side harness runs. Side-to-side stacking direction means this housing stacks with adjacent same-series housings in a side-by-side harness bundle, not vertically.
