Plug Housing for 3-Row Wire-to-Wire Harnesses
The 0.145" (3.68mm) pitch and 3-row layout give it a denser pin field than a 2-row equivalent, useful where board space or panel cutout is tight.
The 0.145" (3.68mm) pitch sets the footprint for the mating header and the board or panel cutout — it is not a 2.54mm or 3.00mm standard, so confirm the header pitch matches before committing the BOM. The 3-row, 9-position arrangement means the connector is wider than a 2-row 9-position; the panel cutout must clear the full 3-row width. The snap-in panel mount holds the housing in place during harness assembly and rework, eliminating the need for mounting hardware.
The 1625 series accepts both male and female crimp terminals, so the same housing can serve as either the plug or the receptacle half depending on which terminal is loaded. The crimp termination requires a separate terminal order and a compatible crimp tool. For a full harness build, add the correct 1625 series crimp terminals to the BOM and verify the wire gauge range the terminal supports matches the harness wire size.
