6-Position Plug Housing for SL 70107 Wire-to-Board Harnesses
It mates with the corresponding SL receptacle housing to form a locked harness assembly for internal power and signal distribution in consumer, industrial, and automotive electronics. The housing carries male pin contacts (ordered separately — see the Contacts Not Included note) terminated via crimp, then inserted into the rear of the plug.
Panel-Mount Installation and Mating
This plug mounts directly to a panel via the integral latch features — no PCB footprint needed. The single-row, 6-position layout keeps the harness entry compact, and the male pins face outward to mate with the receptacle half. The panel cutout dimensions are defined in the SL 70107 series product drawing; the housing snaps into the cutout and is retained by the panel thickness. Crimp termination means the 6 male pins are attached to individual wires before insertion into the housing. The SL series uses standard 0.100" pitch crimp terminals; verify the wire gauge range against the terminal datasheet before committing the build.
