Right-Angle Through-Hole Termination
Through-hole solder termination gives a mechanical anchor that resists shear forces from the mated cable assembly better than an SMT-only joint. The contact length on the post side is 0.120" (3.05mm) — enough for a standard 1.6mm PCB with the solder fillet visible on the opposite side.
Gold Mating Finish and Shrouded Housing
The post side is tin-plated (74.8 µinch), which solders reliably with standard lead-free profiles. The housing is a shrouded 4-wall design in black glass-filled PBT rated UL94 V-0.
