Cable Diameter and Termination
This jack is built for 1.13mm coaxial cable — that's the cable group listed, so the centre conductor and dielectric fit the contact bore without slop. The right-angle body means the cable exits 90 degrees from the mating face, which is handy when you're routing to a bulkhead or panel edge and don't want a straight whip sticking out.
Frequency and Impedance — What the Ratings Mean
Rated to 40 GHz maximum frequency with a 50 Ohm characteristic impedance. For an SMP connector, 40 GHz is the top end of the standard band — this jack will handle Ku, K, and Ka-band signals without the VSWR climbing. The PTFE dielectric keeps the phase stable across temperature swings, which matters when the connector lives in an outdoor or thermal-cycling environment.
