4-Pin Right-Angle Header — Smallest in the C-Grid III 90122 Family
The 0901220122 is a 4-position, dual-row breakaway header from Molex's C-Grid III 90122 series. It mates with C-Grid III crimp-socket housings for a board-to-wire connection, or with another header for board-to-board stacking. The unshrouded header gives you access to the pin tips for probing or manual wiring, but offers no keying — the mating housing must align correctly by the connector shell alone.
Tin Contacts at 157.5 µin — Moderate-Duty Mating Interface
Both the mating and post finishes are tin, with a mating-face thickness of 157.5 µin (4.00 µm). For a harness that connects once at assembly and stays mated, this is a non-issue. The brass base material provides adequate spring retention without the premium of phosphor bronze. The 0.114" (2.90mm) solder tail is short — confirm your board thickness and through-hole plating depth; a 1.6mm board with standard plated-through holes will work, but thicker boards may need a longer-tail variant.
