The post tails are also tin, so the solder joint is tin-to-tin with the PCB pad. Mating pin length is 0.266" (6.75 mm) — enough to fully engage a standard C-Grid III receptacle. The post length after the board is 0.114" (2.90 mm), which determines the through-hole solder tail protrusion.
