The housing accepts the standard C-Grid III crimp socket, which is ordered as a different line item and must be crimped onto your wire before insertion. Factor the terminal part number and its associated crimp tooling into your BOM; the housing alone is only half the connection.
Mating Header and Harness Assembly
The 0901560148 mates with any C-Grid III single-row, 0.100" pitch, 8-circuit male header — either vertical or right-angle, through-hole or SMT, depending on your board layout. For a wire-to-wire configuration, a second 0901560148 housing with male crimp terminals on the opposite harness half would be the mating pair. The crimp termination accepts 20-24 AWG wire with the correct C-Grid III terminal; the insertion tool seats the contact until the terminal retention tang locks into the housing cavity.
There is no official cross-reference from TE Connectivity or other brands; the C-Grid III family is Molex-specific.
