The Molex 1511000008 is an 8-circuit receptacle housing from the Milli-Grid 151100 series, built for free-hanging wire-to-board or wire-to-wire interconnects on a 2.00mm pitch. It uses a latch lock to hold the mating header in place, which matters when the harness sees vibration or routine service handling.
The 2.00mm pitch is tighter than the common 2.54mm (0.100") header spacing, so the board footprint is more compact — useful when routing density matters. The latch lock adds a positive stop during mating, reducing the chance of partial engagement in a production harness.
That means the housing alone does not complete the interconnect — you need the Milli-Grid crimp socket terminals (e.g., Molex 50394 or 50395 series) and the correct hand or auto-crimp tool.
