What the Sealed Rating Means in Practice
The housing is listed as sealed — that seal is effective only when the connector is fully mated with the corresponding MX150 plug header and the latch is engaged. The CPA feature must be locked to maintain the seal integrity; an open half left on the harness is not protected. For unmated connectors on the vehicle or machine, use the matching MX150 cap to keep the seal face clean and dry. The -40°C to 125°C rating means the PA6 housing and integral seal survive thermal cycling from cold-soak starts to near-engine temperatures without embrittlement or loss of compression on the gasket.
