Product details

Board-to-wire breakaway header, 6 circuits

The 1721730006 is the 6-circuit member of Molex's KK396 172173 breakaway header line, a board-to-wire unshrouded header with push-pull fastening. It uses a single row of 6 tin-plated square pins on a 3.96 mm pitch, mounts through-hole right-angle, and carries a UL94 V-0 glass-filled polyester housing.

3.96 mm pitch and board footprint

The 3.96 mm pitch gives each circuit a generous 0.156" of board space — wide enough for hand-routing traces between pads without necking down to a finer line width.
