The through-hole solder tails lock into the PCB for a solid mechanical anchor against cable strain. Glow wire compliance per IEC 60695-2-11 means the housing material (PA66, UL94 V-0) resists ignition under fault conditions — a requirement for household appliances and equipment that must pass a glow-wire test.
Mates with Mini-Fit Jr receptacle housings using the matching crimp terminals. The shrouded 4-wall design guides the receptacle into alignment and prevents mis-mating.
