The housing accepts the terminals and the secondary TPA (Terminal Position Assurance) retainer locks them in place, which is the feature that distinguishes the TPA2 series from standard Mini-Fit housings.
This plug housing mates with any Mini-Fit TPA2 header that shares the 4.20 mm pitch and 20-circuit dual-row layout — typically the 172767 series headers with vertical or right-angle pin orientation. The secondary TPA retainer then slides over the terminal cavities to confirm full seating.
