Right-angle header for power distribution
The 2002411222: The 5.70 mm pitch is wide enough to handle higher current without crowding the board — the per-contact current rating depends on the wire gauge used, but the pitch itself sets the footprint and the thermal budget between circuits. The right-angle through-hole orientation routes the mating cable parallel to the PCB, which saves vertical clearance inside an enclosure — useful when the board sits close to a panel or cover.
Latch holder and shrouded housing
The latch holder fastening type means the header has a built-in locking ramp that clicks into the mating receptacle housing. The 4-wall shrouding protects the male pins from being bent during handling or blind mating, and it guides the receptacle into alignment before the contacts engage. A board guide on the housing helps locate the header during wave-solder placement, and the glow-wire-compliant rating (per IEC 60335-1) means it meets the flame-resistance requirements for household appliance PCBs.
Temperature range and compliance
Rated for -40°C to 120°C operation, this header covers most industrial cabinet and automotive under-hood environments. The UL94 V-0 LCP housing won't sustain a flame in a fault condition.
Mating connector and wire termination
This header mates with the Molex Mega-Fit 20024 receptacle housing (e.g., 200241-0020 or similar 2-circuit version) and uses the Mega-Fit crimp terminals (series 200241). The latch holder on the header engages the receptacle's locking ramp for a vibration-resistant connection.
