It uses a latch holder fastening system for a positive, vibration-resistant mate with the matching header. The 3.50mm pitch provides enough creepage for moderate-voltage power circuits without forcing an oversized footprint on the PCB. The polyamide (PA66) housing is glow wire compliant, a requirement for appliance and lighting applications where the connector must not propagate a flame under fault conditions.
The latch holder locks audibly on mating, confirming full engagement without a secondary lock. For a complete harness, order the matching header and the correct gauge crimp terminals — the wire range is defined by the terminal selection, not the housing.
