The 3.50mm pitch gives you a bit more room between contacts than the common 3.00mm Micro-Fit or 2.50mm Mini-Fit families — useful when you need better creepage for higher-voltage runs or when the wire bundle needs space for thicker insulation. That is a hard requirement for many household appliance, lighting, and HVAC assemblies where the connector sits near a heat source.
For the mating half, you need the Ultra-Fit header in the same 7-circuit count, either vertical or right-angle through-hole, depending on your board layout.
