Board-to-Wire Interconnect for Tight Spaces
The 6.5 A per circuit is the current ceiling at the rated temperature; in practice, derate above 105°C, but for most ambient conditions inside an enclosure this is a genuine power contact, not a signal-only line. The gold-on-gold mating interface (3.94 µin on the contact) gives reliable performance across repeated mating cycles and in mildly corrosive environments — the plating thickness is modest but appropriate for the expected cycle life of a wire-to-board header in field-serviceable equipment.
This header mates with the Pico-Lock 205338 receptacle housing (sold separately), which accepts the matching crimp terminal for 22-28 AWG wire.
