The 1.80 mm pitch keeps the connector compact while leaving room for 20-24 AWG wire with the matching crimp terminal.
This housing accepts a female socket contact (sold separately — the housing ships without terminals). The crimp termination is standard for automated harness assembly: strip, crimp, insert until the terminal tang locks. The latch lock provides the primary retention; no secondary TPA is listed for this housing, so terminal insertion depth and crimp quality are the critical quality checks on the line.
The glass-filled PBT provides dimensional stability at the upper end — no creep at the latch under sustained heat. The blue colour is a visual key for line-side identification; it is not a functional differentiator.
