What this header is and where it sits in the Micro-Fit+ family
The Molex 2068320621 is the 6-circuit, dual-row member of the Micro-Fit+ 206832 series — a board-to-cable header built for through-hole solder termination. The dual-beam square pin accepts the matching Micro-Fit+ crimp receptacle, and the locking ramp on the housing mates with the primary latch on the matching plug housing to guard against accidental disengagement under vibration. At 0.118 inch (3.00 mm) row spacing and 0.118 inch (3.00 mm) pitch between columns, the two rows are evenly spaced — the row-to-row pitch matches the column pitch, so the footprint is a regular 3.00 mm grid. Board guides on the housing align the header during reflow and protect the pins from shear during board-level handling. The contact finish is tin on both the mating face and the solder tail — consistent plating on both sides means this is a signal-and-power header optimised for durability over high-cycle re-mating. The insulation body is black liquid crystal polymer, glass filled, rated UL94 V-0 and built for the full -40 °C to 105 °C operating range.
