Board layout and routing considerations
The 1.80 mm pitch is tighter than the common 2.54 mm (0.100") header pitch, so the PCB footprint is more compact. For a 4-position single-row, the overall width across the pins is about 5.4 mm (3 × 1.80 mm), plus the shrouded housing adds width. The right-angle SMT termination means the solder pads are on the same side as the mating face — the connector body overhangs the board edge, so the z-height above the PCB is determined by the insulation height of 0.253" (6.43 mm). Because the header is surface-mount, the reflow profile must be compatible with the PA9T housing material.
