What This 16-Circuit Zero-Hachi Header Is
The 0.80 mm pitch keeps the housing narrow — useful where board real estate or bundle diameter is tight.
Why the 0.80 mm Pitch and Friction Lock Matter
At 0.80 mm pitch, the 16 circuits fit in a housing roughly 13 mm wide — that is about half the width of a standard 2.54 mm pitch header with the same circuit count.
This header mates with a Zero-Hachi 0.80 mm pitch receptacle housing (same series, same circuit count). Termination is crimp — you insert the contact into the housing cavity after crimping it onto the wire. The contacts are non-gendered, meaning the same terminal part number works for both the header and receptacle sides. The single-row layout makes wire routing straightforward: one wire per cavity, no staggering.
