What This 4-Position Micro-Fit+ Plug Housing Does in a Harness
The 0.118" (3.00mm) pitch keeps the terminal spacing tight enough for a compact connector but leaves room for 20-24 AWG wire without forcing a miniature crimp. It mates with the matching Micro-Fit+ receptacle housing — the locking ramp clicks home and holds against vibration in an automotive or industrial cabinet.
Why the Locking Ramp and Crimp Termination Matter for Field Service
No secondary latch or screw to lose on the shop floor. The crimp termination means you build the wire assembly to length, insert the male pin terminal into the housing, and if a wire gets damaged later you pull that terminal and re-crimp rather than scrapping the whole harness. The free-hanging (in-line) mounting style lets this plug sit mid-cable or at the end of a flying lead without needing a panel cutout.
This is a housing only — no male pin terminals are included. The housing's PA66 insulation holds the terminals in place with the locking ramp on the terminal itself, so the assembly is secure once fully seated.
