Molex 2165712002 is a single-row, 2-circuit header from the Micro-Fit+ 216571 series, designed for board-to-wire connections. The 3.00 mm pitch sets the PCB footprint and the per-contact current ceiling — at the rated current the temperature rise stays within the LCP housing limit. The 15 µinch gold on the mating face gives a solid 500-cycle minimum mating life, fine for field-service or periodic reconnects. The shrouded 4-wall design protects the pins during handling and guides the mating receptacle into alignment. A locking ramp on the header snaps into the receptacle housing — once mated, the pair stays together under vibration or cable yank without a secondary latch.
