What this header locks into
The gold-plated mating contacts (3.00µin over nickel) are rated for a few hundred mating cycles — enough for field-serviceable equipment but not high-cycle daily disconnect.
The 3.00mm pitch is the standard Micro-Fit spacing — the board footprint is a 1x6 row of 1.0mm-diameter plated-through holes on 3.00mm centers. The 0.125" (3.18mm) post length is designed for 1.6mm-thick PCBs; the insulation height of 0.390" (9.91mm) sets the z-height clearance above the board surface.
Locking ramp and vibration duty
For applications exceeding the ramp's retention force (e.g., high-vibration automotive engine compartments), a secondary TPA (terminal position assurance) is available in the receptacle housing.
