The 3.50 mm pitch provides spacing between contacts. The latch holder locks the plug to the header with an audible click.
This plug mates with the Ultra-Fit 216945 series header — same 3.50 mm pitch, same 6-circuit count, same latch interface. Termination is crimp: you use the matching female socket terminal (Molex Ultra-Fit crimp terminal, order separately) and insert it into the housing. The panel mount feature lets you fix the plug to a panel cutout before wiring, which helps during harness assembly.
It is ROHS3 compliant.
