What the ratings mean
The 20 A rating is per circuit at the terminal screw — not a bus-bar aggregate. In a shared-neutral distribution block the current through any single circuit follows the individual feeder, not the block total. The zinc-clear-chromate screw finish resists the corrosion that plain steel picks up in humid or mildly chemical panel environments, but for salt-mist or outdoor-exposed enclosures a stainless-screw upgrade or secondary sealing is the right call. Operating range of -40 to 130 degrees C brackets most industrial enclosure temperatures — including the heat soak that occurs in sealed NEMA enclosures with modest convection.
