What it is and where it fits
The 387007508: Rated 20 A per circuit at 300 V, it accepts 14-22 AWG conductors at the top termination — screws with a captive plate that holds the wire in place without fraying the strands. The bottom terminates to a PCB pin for through-hole reflow or wave-solder mounting. The dual-wall barrier construction provides dead-front protection, so a maintenance technician's tool cannot short adjacent circuits during field wiring.
What the ratings mean
The 20 A rating is per circuit at the terminal screw — not a bus-bar aggregate. In a shared-neutral distribution block the current through any single circuit follows the individual feeder, not the block total. The zinc-clear-chromate screw finish resists the corrosion that plain steel picks up in humid or mildly chemical panel environments, but for salt-mist or outdoor-exposed enclosures a stainless-screw upgrade or secondary sealing is the right call. Operating range of -40 to 130 degrees C brackets most industrial enclosure temperatures — including the heat soak that occurs in sealed NEMA enclosures with modest convection. The 130 C ceiling means this is not suited for direct mounting to high-heat bus bars or next to thermal loads above that rating without a thermal buffer. Colour is Black. If the existing panel scheme specifies white or natural barrier blocks for a specific zone, confirm the colour match against the BOM line — the 387007508 will not be visually interchangeable with a white-housed peer in the same series.
