Duty ratings — what they mean for selection
The 387203220: The 15A per circuit rating at 300V defines this strip for power-distribution and control-panel wiring within industrial automation and equipment panels. Wire size accepted is 14–22 AWG — tight enough that the 14 AWG end of the range is where the full 15A is usable; going finer reduces current-carrying capacity. The operating window of −40°C to 100°C covers most industrial floor and outdoor-enclosure environments. The dual-wall barrier and UL94 V-0 rating together determine that the strip can be installed in enclosed panels without additional guarding — important for applications where flame propagation is a compliance concern.
Panel and wire-side fit
The flange is the panel-mount feature — confirm your chassis hole pattern and clearance for the 20-wire row before committing. Top termination accepts individual wire entries at each of the 20 screw positions; the bottom solder turret is insulated, meaning it is designed for through-hole PCB termination rather than wire output. The 14–22 AWG window covers most Class-B and Class-C control wiring found in industrial equipment panels. With 20 wire entries and 20 circuits, every position is populated — there are no empty positions to skip in the wire run.
