Beau 38720 barrier strip — 6 circuits, 0.375" pitch
The Molex 387206206 is the 6-circuit member of the Beau 38720 barrier-strip series, built around a 0.375" (9.53 mm) pitch with screw-top termination and a PC-pin through-hole footer. The housing is black PBT rated UL94 V-0 over an operating range of -40°C to 130°C. Rated 15 A per circuit at 300 V, it accepts 14–22 AWG wire via the top screw entries — the 2-wall dual barrier construction encloses each wire slot to reduce the risk of accidental shorting between adjacent conductors on a live panel.
Flange mounting and panel fit
The flange feature provides a positive register against the panel face during through-hole solder and during service — the mounting face holds location while the PC pins anchor the part through the board. Terminal screw hardware is steel with a zinc clear-chromate finish, which is adequate for indoor industrial environments but worth noting if the assembly is exposed to влажность or intermittent condensation without a protective enclosure.
What the rating ceiling means for wire and duty selection
The 15 A rating is a per-circuit figure — at 300 V that puts this squarely in low-to-medium power distribution territory: branch circuits, control bus segments, and field wiring from a panel terminal block to discrete loads. The 14–22 AWG window is the binding constraint: do not terminate conductor sizes outside that range because the screw clamp geometry and current density through the clamped cross-section are both optimized for that band. Six wire entries (one per circuit) in a single row means this part is sized for a discrete circuit count, not a bussed multi-tier terminal. If the panel is spec'd for a different row configuration or a higher current tier, the Beau 38720 series offers other position counts — but the 387206206 itself is fixed at 6.
