That matters when you are landing a 12 AWG conductor and need the full thread engagement. The bottom termination is an insulated 0.250" quick-connect tab, which lets you pre-terminate a harness with a standard female quick-disconnect and snap it onto the block without tools. Wire range is 12-22 AWG, covering most panel power and control circuits.
Mounting and compliance
