What it is
The Molex Beau 387600308 is the 8-circuit member of the Beau 38760 dual-wall barrier strip series, rated 15 A per circuit at 300 V with a 0.375-inch (9.53 mm) pitch. Black thermoplastic housing carries a UL94 V-0 flammability rating and flanged mounting holes for chassis or panel installation.
Termination and wire fit
Top termination uses hex-head screws with a captive plate that clamps the wire against a steel saddle — the captive plate keeps the screw from backing out under vibration in panel wiring. Bottom is closed. The block accepts 14-22 AWG and provides 16 wire-entry slots (two per circuit) for field wiring flexibility. Terminal screws are steel with a zinc clear-chromate finish.
Barrier construction — not an enclosed block
The 2-wall dual barrier differs from an enclosed Eurostyle block in physical profile. The Beau 38760 uses an open-top dual-rail construction — wire entry is fully exposed at the top. The flanged mounting feature provides mechanical anchoring at the panel face, but the block itself does not enclose the current path in a fully shrouded housing the way the enclosed Eurostyle 39100 series does.
