What It Is and Where It Goes
The Molex Eurostyle 39100 391002204 is a 4-circuit enclosed barrier terminal strip built for chassis or panel mounting. It uses top-entry screw termination with a closed bottom — no through-panel access — so the wiring side stays clean and the live terminations are enclosed inside the housing. Typical application is a power distribution point inside an industrial control cabinet, HVAC unit, or pump panel where you need a reliable 40 A per circuit tie point at 600 V.
Barrier Spacing and Voltage Hold-off
The 0.472" (12.00 mm) pitch gives you real barrier-to-barrier creepage. At 600 V rating, that spacing keeps the strip from tracking across in a humid panel — a ring lug under a screw, done, with room to spare. The enclosed barrier type adds physical isolation between circuits, which matters when you're landing 8 AWG stranded on one side and a smaller gauge on the other.
Current Capacity and Wire Range
The 8-20 AWG wire range accepts the heavy stranded cable you'd crimp a ring or spade lug onto for that kind of load. Terminal screws are steel with a zinc finish, torqued down on the lug — no spring clamp, no push-in, just a screw you can feel seat.
Housing is polyamide (PA66/Nylon 6/6) rated UL94 V-0, so it's accepted inside equipment enclosures that require a flammability rating. White colour helps with visual circuit identification against a dark panel backplate.
The 391002206 is the 6-circuit version of the same Eurostyle 39100 strip — same 0.472" (12.00 mm) pitch, same 40 A / 600 V rating, same white PA66 housing and screw termination. The only difference is the circuit count: 4 positions on the 391002204 versus 6 on the 391002206. No rewiring between the two — same wire gauge range, same mounting hole pattern per barrier.
