What the ratings mean for your BOM line
The 393570003: The 12 A / 300 V rating covers the majority of low-voltage control and power-distribution nodes in industrial automation — the 16-28 AWG window is wide enough for signal gauge down to flexible harness wire. Plating is tin on the contact surfaces — suitable for field-term and repeated manual actuation, though if your design calls for more than a few dozen mate cycles the rising cage clamp's mechanical retention (not the contact plating) is what keeps the termination stable over time. Operating range is -40°C to 105°C, which clears most industrial enclosure environments. The polyamide housing does not have an IP rating — if the board-level application needs washdown or dust protection the connector must be protected by the enclosure or a separate sealing boot.
