Terminal block for PCB-edge power and signal wiring
The Molex Eurostyle 393570004 is a 4-position PCB terminal block from the 39357 series, built for wire-to-board termination at a 3.50 mm pitch. It uses a screw-rising cage clamp — turn the M3 screw, the clamp rises to capture the stripped wire against the conductor path. Rated 12 A at 300 V, it handles control-voltage power and moderate-current signal runs inside an industrial cabinet, a power supply, or a lighting driver. The black polyamide (PA) housing carries a single level of terminals, and the through-hole pins mount horizontally to the board, keeping the wire entry parallel to the PCB surface.
Wire termination and tooling
The screw-rising cage clamp accepts 16-28 AWG solid or stranded wire. No crimp terminal is needed — strip the wire, insert it into the clamp opening, and tighten the M3 screw to the specified torque. The copper alloy clamp and screw are both nickel-plated, which resists corrosion in a standard industrial atmosphere. The horizontal wire entry (parallel to the board) suits enclosures where the wire bundle runs along the PCB plane rather than standing upright.
