What it is
The Molex 395943002 is the 2-circuit member of the Eurostyle ESE 39594 series — a side-entry 5.08 mm (0.200-inch) pitch terminal block rated 15 A per circuit at 300 V, with through-hole mounting for PCB attachment. Wire entry is side-entry via a screw rising cage clamp that grips the full conductor cross-section — re-tightening the screw re-clocks the clamp without disturbing the wire, which matters in field service where vibration can work a connection loose over time. Contacts are brass with tin plating; the housing is green PA66 (nylon 6/6) rated -40°C to 105°C — the polyamide material handles the thermal environment of a typical enclosed panel better than polycarbonate alternatives at the high end of that range.
Where it fits in the wiring harness
The 12-30 AWG wire gauge range covers both the heavier harness runs carrying power to a board-level load and the smaller control-circuit wire run alongside them — a single terminal block footprint handles both without changing part numbers on the BOM. Through-hole mounting anchors the block to the PCB before wave or hand soldering; the horizontal mating orientation with board means the wire enters perpendicular to the PCB surface — standard for panel-level wire-to-board runs where the harness is built off-board and plugged in during final assembly.
