Terminal Block Overview
The Molex Eurostyle 39700 397000802 is a 2-position, single-level terminal block designed for side-entry wire termination on a PCB. It uses a screwless push-button clamp — push the button, insert the stripped wire, release — no tool needed. Rated 10 A at 300 V, it accepts 14-22 AWG wire. The green PA66 housing and tin-plated brass contacts are standard for this series.
The 5.00 mm pitch (0.197") sets the hole spacing on the PCB. That's a common Eurostyle footprint, but note: the 395443005 from the Eurostyle ESE 39544 series uses a 5.08 mm pitch (0.200") — close but not identical. A board laid out for 5.08 mm won't accept this 5.00 mm part without re-drilling. Stick with the 5.00 mm pitch for this part.
Termination is screwless push-button clamp: push the orange button, insert the wire, release. The clamp holds the conductor without a screwdriver — handy for field wiring where speed matters. Accepts 14-22 AWG solid or stranded wire. The clamp material is steel, stainless; contacts are brass with tin plating.
