High-Current PCB Terminal Block for Power Distribution
The Molex 399200302 is a 2-position through-hole PCB terminal block from the Eurostyle 39920 series, designed for high-current power distribution on a printed circuit board. Its 0.591" (15.00mm) pitch provides the creepage distance needed for the 600 V rating, while the 115 A per-position current rating means each circuit can carry bus-level current — sized for the main DC rail or AC power feed, not a signal line.
Wire termination uses a screw-rising cage clamp — the screw (1/4-28 thread) drives a nickel-plated brass clamp that pulls the conductor against a tin-plated copper contact bar. The specified torque of 3.95 Nm (35 Lb-In) is high enough to secure 1-8 AWG stranded or solid wire without crushing the strands. The bronze screw with tin plating resists galling during repeated terminations in a panel shop.
