What This Terminal Block Is
The Molex 399200502 is a 2-position, single-level Eurostyle 39920 terminal block designed for through-hole PCB mounting with a side-entry, horizontal wire orientation. It uses a screw-rising cage clamp termination — the M5 screw drives a brass, nickel-plated clamp that pulls the conductor against a tin-plated copper contact bar. The 0.591" (15.00mm) pitch is wide enough to handle the 600 V rating with adequate creepage between adjacent circuits, and the 85 A per-position current rating means each terminal carries bus-level power — sized for the main DC rail or a high-current AC feed, not a signal line. The M5 screw torque spec is 2.71 Nm (24 Lb-In).
The rising cage clamp accepts 3–14 AWG stranded or solid wire. The screw is steel, stainless with tin plating; the clamp is brass with nickel plating.
