Right-Angle Power Header for Board-to-Wire Harnesses
The Molex 430450422 is a 4-position, dual-row, right-angle male header from the Micro-Fit 3.0 43045 series. It connects a printed circuit board to a wire harness via the matching Micro-Fit 3.0 receptacle housing and crimp terminals. The 0.118" (3.00 mm) pitch and dual-row layout give it a compact board footprint for a 4-circuit power interconnect. The 600 V rating provides substantial creepage margin at this pitch for the listed applications: automotive, general purpose, industrial, medical, and telecommunications. Gold plating on the mating contacts at 15.0 µin (0.38 µm) supports repeated mating cycles without contact fretting, while the tin-plated solder tails (100.0 µin) wet well in wave solder.
Board Lock and Mechanical Retention
This header includes a board lock feature — a pair of plastic or metal retention posts that snap into the PCB during through-hole insertion. For a right-angle connector, that matters: the cable exit direction puts leverage on the solder joints, and the board lock takes that strain off the pins.
