The Molex 430450802 is an 8-position, dual-row header from the Micro-Fit 3.0 43045 series, designed for board-to-wire power and signal interconnects. The mating contacts are gold-plated at 30.0 µ" (0.76 µm) for corrosion resistance over repeated mating cycles, while the solder posts get a 100.0 µ" (2.54 µm) tin finish for reliable wave-solder wetting.
Fit and board layout
The 3.00 mm pitch and 0.118" (3.00 mm) row spacing give enough room for routing a 600 V creepage path between adjacent circuits without forcing a wide board footprint. The through-hole posts are 0.125" (3.18 mm) long, a standard length for 1.6 mm PCBs.
The 8 A per circuit rating is per contact at the 105°C upper operating limit; derate current for higher ambient temperatures per the series derating curve. The UL94 V-0 LCP housing handles the 105°C ceiling without softening.
