The 3.00 mm pitch and 0.118" row spacing give it a compact footprint for a 8 A per circuit power interconnect, while the 4-wall shroud protects the male pins during handling and mating. Typical applications include automotive, general-purpose industrial, medical, and telecommunications equipment.
