What This Connector Is
The Molex 430451000 is a 10-position dual-row male header in the Micro-Fit 3.0 43045 series — a board-to-cable power interconnect with 3.00 mm pitch and through-hole right-angle mounting. Tin-plated brass contacts are rated 8 A per circuit at up to 600 V, with all 10 positions populated and a 4-wall shroud that encloses the contact area on all sides. A locking ramp on the header body mates with the primary latch on the matching Micro-Fit 3.0 receptacle housing, and a board-lock feature adds pull-out resistance at the PCB interface. The housing is black glass-filled LCP rated UL94 V-0 across an operating range of -40 to 105 °C.
Where It Goes and What It Drives
Micro-Fit 3.0 headers are a standard power distribution interconnect in automotive harness branches, industrial automation control modules, medical device power rails, and telecom infrastructure equipment. The 600 V rating puts this series above typical bench-top power levels, suited for offline AC domains or higher-voltage DC rails. The shrouding and locking ramp make it a preferred choice over floating or friction-fit alternatives in environments where vibration is present — the latch locks audibly and the board-lock reduces peening of the through-hole solder joint under shock load.
